Otto Addo, head coach of the Black Stars, has said he will step down as Ghana's coach following the World Cup, with Chris Hughton or George Boateng slated to take over.

The Black Stars have a deal with Addo through the end of the year, who also manages Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

Although he will serve as the national team's coach for the black stars in Qatar for the World Cup, Addo does not anticipate continuing his career after the competition.

According to him, a national coach should also long-term reside in the nation they represent.

But I intend to live in Germany for the next few years.
